APPLICATION	Used for the enrichment of Gram-negative Enterobacteriaceae, specifically Shigella and Proteus.
PREPARATION	1. Weigh 39 g of the medium and dissolve in 1 L of distilled or deionized water.
	2. Stir and heat to boiling until complete dissolution.
	3. Dispense into flasks (225 mL per flask). Autoclave at 115°C for 15 minutes.

STORAGE	Store in a dark and dry place at room temperature, and tighten the bottle cap immediately after use.
